Gynecologic Cancer Information

Almost 90,000 women are diagnosed with gynecologic cancers each year.*

Gynecologic cancers include cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers. A diagnosis can be devastating to a woman, her family and her community. Together, we can bring hope and healing to women, families and communities.

Below are gynecologic cancer resources provided by AdventHealth Cancer Institute.

  • Cancer Conditions– There are many different types of gynecology cancers. Most, with early diagnosis and intervention, can be treated using methods that range from non-invasive methods such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy to surgery.
  • Clinical Trials– Clinical trials are research studies in which people help doctors find ways to improve health and cancer care. Each study tries to answer scientific questions and to find better ways to prevent, diagnose or treat cancer. It is designed to show how a particular anticancer strategy – a promising drug, a gene therapy treatment, a new diagnostic test, or a possible way to prevent cancer – affects the people who receive it.
